You're so right, and I was amused and entertained by what you wrote & the tone you struck in this article.

I had the same thoughts as you when I was at work (so not even in a dating environment) the office banter is also unfairly loaded for people to laugh off / enjoy what the attractive / close in age guy says and be creeped out by what the less conventional looking/ age disparate guy says ... although lets be honest, in the 80s and 90s I was forced to laugh off a lot of things that I would now go straight to HR with !
