I don’t cook: there’s only me, so it’s not really worth it. Maybe one day, if I ever have a kid, I’ll make roast dinners for them: buy the best bit of beef I can afford, and parboil potatoes so they’re fluffy on the inside, but the outsides get crisped by the dripping from the week before.
