Great advice - I am a bit guilty of being distracted during the process. Also editing as I go.

When you stop, don't stop in a neat place, rather leave an unfinished thought or sentence. this makes it easier to pick up the threads and get writing again. Stopping at a neat ending place can give u that 'staring at a blank page' thing which is daunting.
