Agreed, you hope you convey the ending that was in your head, but as a writer it is good to leave…

It is up to you to decide what that end actually entails. It was clear in my head when I wrote the final episode, and I still envisage it that way. But on occasions, it is best not to literally tie up all ends and to leave such a thing to the reader's imagination.
